Independent startup multimedia studio behind the world-renowned horror game franchise Poppy Playtime.

What you will do

  • Create high-quality, game-ready environmental props from initial concept to final implementation.
  • Prepare assets using mid-poly, trim sheet, and floater workflows to match the established artistic style.
  • Optimize assets for performance while maintaining high visual fidelity.
  • Collaborate with Level Designers, Material Artists, and Technical Artists to support level production.
  • Implement assets into Unreal Engine and perform basic scene setup.
  • Maintain organized source files and adhere to naming conventions and pipeline standards.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience creating game-ready environment props.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating hard surface work and mid-poly/trim workflows.
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
  • Proficiency in Substance Designer and PBR texturing workflows.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience shipping titles for PC or console.
  • Familiarity with horror, semi-stylized realism, or atmospheric environments.
  • Experience with Substance Painter, ZBrush, or Marvelous Designer.
  • Knowledge of LOD creation and collision setup in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Familiarity with Perforce, Jira, and Confluence.
