Location: Must be based in Mexico

Salary: 32,000–35,000 MXN gross per month

What you will do

  • Create high-quality 3D environment art, props, and materials across various visual styles.
  • Assemble and integrate assets into Unreal Engine with a focus on performance and composition.
  • Translate vague creative briefs into clear, actionable tasks and acceptance criteria.
  • Review artwork from internal and external teams, providing constructive and actionable feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to maintain visual consistency and quality standards.
  • Identify production risks and contribute to pipeline and workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as an Environment Artist or Generalist in games.
  • English proficiency: B2 or higher required.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality environment art and real-time engine experience.
  • Professional experience with Unreal Engine and standard tools like Maya, ZBrush, and Substance.
  • Solid understanding of real-time performance constraints (LODs, draw calls, memory budgets).
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment across time zones.

Nice to have

  • Experience mentoring artists or supporting lead-level responsibilities.
  • Experience working with outsourcing partners or external vendors.
  • Knowledge of procedural workflows, Houdini, or scripting (Python/Blueprints).
  • Experience defining style guides and art review standards.
