Head of Client Platform

Location: US, remote; up to 5% travel may be required. A minimum 25 Mbps consumer-grade broadband connection is required.

Base salary: $242,250–$275,000 annually, with possible equity compensation.

hirify.global is a remote cybersecurity product company developing NodeZero, a platform for autonomous penetration testing and security assessment operations.

What you will do

• Lead the Client Platform organization across Image Build & Release and OTA Services, managing approximately 10 engineers through two Engineering Managers.
• Set the technical and cultural direction for software deployed in customer-controlled environments.
• Own CI/CD workflows for reproducible container builds, image signing, SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, and reliable publishing.
• Architect and operate secure OTA update delivery with staged rollouts, rollback, and delivery verification across thousands of customer environments.
• Partner with Security Research, Product, and Customer Success to support new pentest capabilities and manage the client-side roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience leading teams that design, build, and operate containerized software deployed on-premises or in customer-managed environments.
• Expertise in software supply chain security, including secure and reproducible builds, image signing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience designing OTA update systems for distributed agents or edge software at scale.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or C++ and strong Linux operations skills, including container runtimes, networking, systemd, and process isolation.
• Knowledge of TLS, certificate pinning, secure software delivery, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience hiring and growing engineering teams, establishing engineering standards, and leading structured architecture reviews.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity, penetration testing, or vulnerability remediation experience.
• Experience with cross-platform Windows/Linux agents and endpoint telemetry.
• Background with air-gapped or restricted network environments.
• Familiarity with TUF, Omaha, or SLSA.
