What you will do

  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure peak equipment reliability and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance (PM) programs to minimize production disruption and improve scheduling effectiveness.
  • Prioritize and drive rapid response to line-down situations using root-cause analysis.
  • Manage department budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Facilities teams to support equipment installations and validations.
  • Mentor and develop a team of Manufacturing Technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management.
  • 10+ years of operations maintenance experience with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Deep understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
  • Proven experience managing modern maintenance systems such as CMMS tools.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Orange County, CA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in Lean methodologies.
