What you will do

• Lead the Facilities department and provide technical supervision for staff and external vendors.
• Develop and execute facilities strategies aligned with operational objectives in Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
• Manage preventative maintenance, Building Management Systems, and monitoring of Controlled Environmental Areas (CEA).
• Oversee facility utilities, hazardous material storage, and regulatory compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Plan and coordinate facility shutdowns, HVAC repairs, modifications, and new equipment installations.
• Partner with EMS/EHS leadership to support safety programs, sustainability initiatives, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of facilities maintenance experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience working within biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device Controlled Environmental Areas (CEAs).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
• Fluent English required for daily communications and presentations.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, utility system drawings, and building codes.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Spanish language skills.
