Senior Engineer, R&D (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Lead hands-on innovation and early-stage concept development for medical devices.
• Generate concepts, evaluate feasibility, and conduct translational research.
• Invent and develop novel technologies for progression toward product development.
• Prototype and test minimally invasive medical device designs using CNC and 3D printing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and provide technical leadership in a regulated environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree, in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• 3+ years of medical device R&D experience preferred.
• Experience with innovation and regulated environments.
• Strong engineering fundamentals, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of FDA requirements, ISO 13485, and SolidWorks CAD design.
