What you will do

• Build the core AI platform powering a copilot for a new trading experience.
• Develop a high-performance backend in Rust supporting streaming and low-latency tool execution.
• Design robust APIs and runtime components including authentication, rate limiting, and tracing.
• Build safe infrastructure for trading workflows such as order previews and idempotent tool calls.
• Partner with product and frontend teams to enable AI-native UX patterns like streaming and citations.
• Translate business domain requirements into secure, resilient platform primitives.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of systems programming fundamentals including concurrency, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and operating production APIs with high observability and security standards.
• Ability to define platform requirements and deliver architecture end-to-end.
• High degree of self-motivation and problem-solving capability.

Nice to have

• Strong production experience with Rust (Tokio, async, performance tuning).
• Experience building platforms for AI/ML inference, streaming, or retrieval systems.
• Background in trading systems, order lifecycles, or mission-critical financial infrastructure.
• Deep experience with Postgres performance and data modeling.
