Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States. This is a fully remote role with an optional hybrid component (Tuesday/Wednesday) for those near CB offices.
Salary: $185,000–$200,000

What you will do
- Build and maintain ASP.NET MVC 5 views and integrate them with shared business and data-access layers.
- Partner with Product Owners and UX designers to translate complex financial aid requirements into well-scoped technical implementations.
- Lead peer code reviews and raise engineering quality standards across two delivery teams.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate the modernization of ~100 web views by 2027.
- Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to roadmap and sprint planning.
- Resolve production issues and ensure adherence to security policies and CI/CD best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of production-level software development experience with deep expertise in C# and ASP.NET MVC.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Proven ability to translate complex domain requirements into dev-ready stories for non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience navigating layered architectures and modernizing legacy codebases.
- Ability to travel 3-5 times a year to NYC or Reston, VA offices.
- Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development tools and mentoring team members.
Nice to have
- Experience modernizing legacy Windows/desktop applications to web platforms.
- Proficiency with DevExpress MVC Extensions, Autofac DI, jQuery, SQL Server, and xUnit/Moq.
