What you will do

• Decompose complex problems into specifications for AI agents and perform rigorous human review of the output.
• Build and maintain vertical slices of capability including React frontends, Node services, Prisma schemas, and AWS infrastructure.
• Own the user experience for complex, policy-laden workflows and data-dense interfaces.
• Develop and maintain a React/TypeScript component library with built-in accessibility (Section 508/WCAG).
• Maintain production software quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated end-to-end testing.
• Operate in an always-green main branch environment, shipping small, reviewable changes to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
• 7+ years of experience building production web systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools like Codex or Claude Code on real-world codebases.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Expertise in WCAG/508 compliance and assistive technology testing.
• Experience with complex form/wizard architectures and document generation.
• Background in migrating legacy fat-client applications to modern web platforms.
• Experience working within government or highly regulated technical environments.
• Familiarity with AWS CDK and container orchestration (EKS/ECS).
