What you will do
- Commission independent production companies to create high-quality classroom video content for UK schools.
- Manage the full commissioning lifecycle, from researching curriculum objectives and writing briefs to final publication.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subject specialist teachers, to maximize resource impact.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while contributing to creative and editorial direction.
- Deliver improvements to the website for teachers to ensure digital resources are positioned attractively and accessibly.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Salford, UK.
- Proven experience creating high-quality educational content specifically for UK schools.
- Strong digital skillset with technical proficiency in web content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to accurately research curriculum requirements.
- Knowledge of editorial guidelines and compliance processes for children's content.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and establish effective professional relationships.
Nice to have
- Practical experience in television or online video production.
- Ability to use statistics and audience data to inform content decisions.
- Experience writing clear and concise briefs, scripts, or digital platform material.
- Awareness of financial responsibility and budgets.
