What you will do

• Evaluate full system performance and provide feedback to development teams to optimize sub-systems.
• Derive product requirements from external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and liability reviews.
• Support the integration of self-driving software onto vehicles and HIL test benches.
• Develop and execute test plans, performing closed course and on-road evaluations.
• Lead design discussions spanning hardware, software, functional safety, and operations.
• Manage system issues from identification through resolution and track performance KPIs.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise with Robot Operating System (ROS) and designing custom HIL test fixtures (dSPACE, National Instruments).
• Experience with Level 4 autonomy self-driving testing on track and public roads.
• Proficiency with JAMA for test and requirements management.
• Experience in fault injection, Minimal Risk Condition Failover testing, and drive-by-wire system testing.
