What you will do

• Own day-to-day execution of system safeguards compliance programs under CFTC Regulations 38.1051 and 39.18.
• Draft, update, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and filings related to system safeguards and electronic trading controls.
• Coordinate testing schedules including penetration, vulnerability, and controls testing with engineering teams.
• Manage annual and special system safeguards reviews and audits with third parties.
• Serve as liaison between Compliance and Technology teams to ensure accurate safeguards documentation.
• Support responses to CFTC examinations and monitor regulatory developments related to technology and system safeguards.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid in New York, United States
• Direct experience with CFTC regulatory compliance and familiarity with Regulations 38.1051 and 39.18.
• Proven ability to manage compliance workflows end-to-end including audits and remediation tracking.
• Strong written communication skills for compliance documentation and regulatory filings.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear technical requests.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines.

• Experience working at a DCM or DCO.
• Experience coordinating third-party system safeguards audits and managing related correspondence.
