What you will do
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of the RCM audit approach aligned with enterprise risk and compliance requirements.
- Oversee SOX control environments, including design, execution, and remediation planning to ensure audit integrity.
- Govern call quality and performance review programs to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational standards.
- Develop and manage RCM scorecards and KPIs to support data-informed decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Operations to resolve complex issues and ensure regulatory alignment.
- Provide mentorship and performance oversight to analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or related operational functions with a focus on quality assurance and audit strategy.
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance within medical billing, including control design and execution.
- Strong understanding of LCDs/NCDs, payer contracts, claims adjudication, and reimbursement workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing executive-level stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MPH or similar).
- Relevant certifications such as CRCR, CPHQ, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CCS, or CPC.
- Experience navigating complex payer landscapes and networks.
