Senior Software Engineer (C++, Fintech)

Salary: $225,000 – $300,000 (base)

What you will do

• Lead the development and global rollout of the Core market data platform across research, pricing, and strategy groups.
• Design and implement high-performance components for market data ingestion, normalization, and distribution.
• Develop tools and frameworks enabling quants and traders to deploy data-driven systematic strategies.
• Own the full component lifecycle, including production deployment, monitoring, profiling, and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with quants and technical traders to iterate on platform design and requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional C++ software development experience.
• Experience building low-latency market data ingestion and algorithmic trading systems.
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and multithreaded/asynchronous programming.
• Expertise in OS internals, CPU/memory architecture, and lock-free concurrency.
• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
