What you will do

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts using mechanical measuring equipment.
• Verify deliveries against packing lists and purchase orders for accuracy in quantity and items.
• Create and maintain detailed inspection records, test reports, and audit trails.
• Identify defects, quarantine non-compliant items, and initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Ensure the working area remains a clean and safe environment in compliance with Health and Safety policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Mechanical Inspector within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of hand measuring tools and CNC CMM.
• Familiarity with FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports) and/or PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience producing accurate and detailed written reports on non-conforming products.
• Fluent English proficiency.

• Microsoft Office skills, specifically the creation of Excel spreadsheets.
