DevOps Engineer (Data Warehouse, Oracle, Azure)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Support the migration of the Data Warehouse to the cloud and provision Oracle databases on Oracle Database@Azure.
• Design and automate secure connectivity between Azure and Oracle (OCI) environments.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD.
• Automate database provisioning, patching, backup, and high-availability processes.
• Set up replication and change-data-capture to keep source and target systems in sync.
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot database and data-warehouse performance.

Requirements

• Fluent in Czech or Slovak required for daily operations.
• Good command of English for technical documentation and communication.
• Solid experience with Linux administration, GIT, and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Database operations.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with understanding of data warehouse concepts.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Database@Azure.
• Experience with Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or Perl.
