What you will do

• Perform information security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and suggest risk treatments.
• Support security incident response by documenting and distributing escalation procedures.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts, coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.
• Ensure continuous control of compliance with internal and external information security standards.
• Contribute to the preparation and execution of internal and external security audits.
• Implement and support security awareness programs and serve as a point of contact for security policies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in information security.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with or desire to learn control frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001/27002 and PCIDSS.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Rotterdam.

• Previous projects or coursework in network security or data privacy.
