TL;DR
Security Operations Manager (SIEM/Incident Response): Leading Fugro’s global Security Operations function, including managed SOC services, security tooling, incident response, vulnerability management, and security testing with an accent on threat detection, IT/cloud/OT hardening, and risk-based remediation. Focus on coordinating major incidents, developing detection use cases, improving operational playbooks, and aligning security priorities with business needs.
Location: Nootdorp, Netherlands; hybrid work with the opportunity to work from home in accordance with management and corporate policies
Salary: €7,700–€8,400 gross per month, depending on relevant experience

What you will do
- Lead the global Security Operations team and managed SOC service, ensuring timely threat detection and response.
- Own the technical implementation of defensive security tooling, including EDR, SIEM, email filtering, and related platforms.
- Lead the full incident response lifecycle and coordinate decision-making and communication during major incidents.
- Develop detection use cases, operational playbooks, escalation workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive vulnerability management, security testing, penetration testing, code scanning, and red and purple team exercises.
- Improve the security of IT, cloud, and OT environments while advising senior stakeholders on risk and security posture.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in information security, including a minimum of 2 years managing or coordinating SOC or Security Operations teams.
- BSc or MSc in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tooling, security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
- Strong technical foundation across IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and Operational Technology.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams and managing complex technical and business stakeholder environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English required.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCIR, GSOC, CDSA, OSDA, CCSP, or similar.
