TL;DR
Data Scientist (Mobility): Building and deploying predictive models and statistical frameworks to optimize the Bolt marketplace with an accent on experiment design and production-ready ML. Focus on identifying business opportunities through data and delivering end-to-end solutions that drive real-world product impact.
Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania (at least 12 monthly in-office days required)

What you will do
- Identify and prioritize analytical and modeling opportunities to drive product decisions.
- Build, deploy, and monitor ML models and automated decision systems in production.
- Design and execute large-scale experiments to validate business hypotheses.
- Develop data products and frameworks to reduce dependency on one-off analyses.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to solve complex business problems.
Requirements
- Experience in data science or applied ML within an industry setting.
- Strong foundational knowledge of statistics and experimentation.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Ability to communicate complex model logic to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be based in or able to work from Bucharest, Romania.
