What you will do

  • Lead the Project Controlling team and oversee the global project portfolio.
  • Partner with Sales and Bid teams to prepare cost models and service model pro formas.
  • Own and maintain the company pricing model to support commercial decision-making.
  • Manage project financial governance, including forecasts, margin reviews, and reporting standards.
  • Responsible for Inventory, WIP, and POA accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide line management, coaching, and development for Global Project Accountants.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in IFRS, specifically IFRS 15, revenue recognition, and cost allocation.
  • Proven experience in project finance, controlling, and forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite experience highly desirable).
  • Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the Newcastle office.
