What you will do

• Integrate cost, schedule, and performance data to monitor project status.
• Maintain earned value metrics, forecasts, and identify budget variances and risks.
• Manage month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial and management reports and dashboards for project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and audit requirements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting across long-term programs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Tewkesbury, UK (Hybrid).
• Strong numerical skills (GCSE Maths Grade A/7 or equivalent).
• Analytical thinking and ability to solve problems in a structured way.
• Basic to intermediate Excel proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Motivation to pursue a career in finance, business, or project environments.

Nice to have

• Degree or qualification in a numerate or business-related subject.
• Studying towards or interested in a qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or AAT.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition or long-term contract accounting.
• Previous experience in internships, apprenticeships, or project environments.
