TL;DR
Remote Shopify Developer (Shopify/Liquid): Building, customizing, and optimizing high-performing eCommerce websites on the Shopify platform with an accent on custom theme development and performance optimization. Focus on developing reusable front-end components, implementing Storefront GraphQL API, and ensuring pixel-perfect responsive designs.
Location: Remote (Global). Must be available to work 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
Salary: $17 - $35 per hour

What you will do
- Build custom Shopify sections, blocks, and reusable front-end components to enhance user experience.
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, metafields, and metaobjects.
- Implement advanced functionality using the Storefront GraphQL API beyond standard Liquid capabilities.
- Migrate eCommerce websites from other platforms to Shopify.
- Optimize websites for page speed, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Transform complex PSD layouts into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML5/CSS3 templates.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Shopify website development.
- Expertise in Liquid templating language and Shopify theme customization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and ECMAScript.
- Experience with Shopify Storefront GraphQL API and JS APIs (AJAX Cart, Sections).
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
Nice to have
- Shopify Certification.
- Experience with Ruby, PHP, MySQL, or AJAX.
- Knowledge of SCSS.
- Experience with WordPress, Magento, or BigCommerce.
