What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and components using Java.
• Contribute to the evolution and unification of enterprise data platform ecosystems.
• Support the migration and transition of legacy components into the target platform.
• Analyze existing applications, integrations, dependencies, and data flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and product teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in distributed systems.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience in Java backend development and API construction.
• Strong proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and Git.
• Strong understanding of OOP, clean code, and software design principles.
• Must be based in Spain.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with data platforms, data integration, or data-heavy environments.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
