What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable backend services using Java and Spring.
• Lead the technical design of new features and architectural initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Drive improvements in system reliability, performance, observability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support critical customer escalations.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience (e.g., 8200, Mamram, Ofek).
• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and REST APIs.
• Strong SQL and database design skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• English and Hebrew: Expert level required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Experience integrating with healthcare standards such as HL7/FHIR.
• Experience developing HIPAA- and GDPR-compliant systems in regulated medical environments.
