What you will do

• Analyze customer account data, on-chain/off-chain transactions, and account characteristics to assess activity and identify related entities.
• Perform blockchain tracing across multiple blockchains and asset types, including bridges, swaps, and smart contract interactions.
• Conduct open-source and other investigative research to gather data for investigations and due diligence.
• Identify trends in abnormal or malicious activity and map networks of bad actors.
• Document investigative steps, data sources reviewed, and conclusions; review legal process documentation supporting investigations.
• Liaise with internal teams and external law enforcement; provide training and knowledge-sharing on crypto threat typologies and investigative techniques.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in or directly supporting United States federal law enforcement.
• 3+ years of experience with cybercrime, financial, or cryptocurrency-related investigations.
• Significant experience with on-chain tracing and blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM Labs).
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrencies and technical differences between blockchains/networks; familiarity with DeFi protocols (bridges, swaps, mixers, smart contract interactions).
• Excellent writing skills to clearly and concisely communicate findings; ability to analyze large amounts of data.
• Experience with subpoenas, court orders, seizure warrants, or freeze letters; strong network within U.S. law enforcement or international counterparts.

Nice to have

• Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency.
• Knowledge of OSINT and/or due diligence investigations.
• Experience using AI tools for investigative or analytical work.
