What you will do

• Operate industrial equipment including forklifts, track hoes, skid steers, and various trucks to process inbound materials.
• Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers as required by facility protocols.
• Consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor safely and efficiently.
• Perform exterior site maintenance including litter collection, painting, and snow/ice removal.
• Manage traffic control for incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Assist facility mechanics with equipment repairs and general maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Westbury, NY.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 50lbs, work from heights, and in confined spaces.
• Must be able to qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
