What you will do

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on facility equipment, including overhead doors, gates, and fire suppression systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks as directed by management.
• Perform structural welding and cutting on mild and stainless steel.
• Operate forklifts and man lifts safely following plant certification.
• Record all maintenance activities and PM completions in SAP.
• Coordinate with contractors for facility projects and oversee their work.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Hermiston, OR.
• High School diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in welding (Arc and MIG) and sheet metal fabrication.
• Basic working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in extreme temperatures (0° to 130° F).
