What you will do

• Own the end-to-end communications function, including narrative, press, and executive voice.
• Build and manage a communications system that integrates editorial calendars, media strategy, and social strategy.
• Develop distinct narrative tracks for developers, consumers, enterprise buyers, and recruits.
• Establish a durable CEO voice across LinkedIn, X, podcasts, and long-form writing.
• Leverage AI tools to optimize PR workflows, reporting, and competitive intelligence.
• Partner cross-functionally on product launches, investor narratives, and partnership strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of communications experience in high-growth technology companies.
• Proven ability to translate technical complexity for diverse audiences.
• Strong media relationships and proactive news sense.
• Demonstrated judgment in issues management under pressure.
• Business and financial fluency regarding growth narratives and investor perception.
• Must be based in San Francisco and comfortable with an on-site work environment.

• Experience building communications programs from the ground up.
• Deep understanding of emerging media channels like podcasts, newsletters, and creator-led platforms.
