What you will do

• Identify and evaluate spend reduction opportunities and consolidate processes within assigned commodity categories.
• Manage RFIs and RFQs, providing recommendations based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and landed cost analysis.
• Formulate annual business plans to achieve cost reductions and year-over-year performance improvements.
• Negotiate contract terms and lead technical reviews with cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to ensure sustained results.
• Analyze supply chain processes to remove non-value-added work and reduce inventory requirements.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Business (Supply Chain or Purchasing preferred) or Engineering (Product or Manufacturing).
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement.
• Must be based in or able to work from Maumee, OH or Novi, MI, US.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Professional Supply chain certification.
• Automotive purchasing experience, specifically with Tier-1 automotive suppliers.
