What you will do

• Shape the future of Risk at Stripe across core user journeys and new product surfaces
• Design experiences that help users onboard quickly, stay compliant, and manage risk with clarity and control
• Partner with product, engineering, policy, operations, and research to deliver near-term improvements and longer-term opportunities
• Explore, shape, and prototype new ideas and products
• Lead design on complex, cross-functional problems with multiple stakeholders and constraints
• Raise craft standards and help teams adopt systems thinking for risk and compliance experiences

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience designing products
• Strong portfolio showing excellent craft, systems thinking, end-to-end design, and understanding of AI tools
• Experience leading complex product work with product management and engineering
• Ability to shape ambiguous spaces and drive clarity through design
• Track record of influencing cross-functional teams and product direction

Nice to have

• Experience spanning systems, strategy, and 0-1 product thinking
• Ability to turn complex systems, policies, and edge cases into elegant product experiences
• Strong storytelling skills to align partners around a clear point of view
• Experience building trust through design in high-stakes or sensitive user moments
