What you will do
- Lead threat modeling for AI agent features, APIs, and integrations to identify risks like prompt injection and data leakage.
- Design and prototype mitigation controls including input/output sanitization, policy gates, and sandboxing.
- Build anomaly detection rules and behavioral analytics to identify and contain agent-enabled abuse patterns.
- Collaborate with Platform and Product teams to integrate secure defaults into agent SDKs and API flows.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for incident response and forensics involving AI agent investigations.
- Represent the company in industry forums regarding AI agent safety and security standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or ML security.
- Deep understanding of application/API security, OAuth, session management, and modern authentication patterns.
- Practical experience with LLMs and agents, including prompt engineering risks and mitigation strategies.
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional technical initiatives and influencing product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business and legal terms.
- Experience working within a SaaS company environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigations involving data exfiltration.
- Background in privacy and compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or GDPR.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Security, or relevant certifications like OSCP or CISSP.
