What you will do

• Perform investigations into detected threats and utilize security products to analyze, contain, and remediate compromises on customer endpoints.
• Provide customers with detailed reports regarding actions taken, environment cleanup, and long-term protection strategies.
• Identify and implement effective response strategies to improve the overall security posture of the customer base.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Intel, and Product teams to develop innovative remediation methods.
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment while participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Maintain a standard work schedule of Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm MT.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with direct experience in security event response.
• Proficiency with EDR products such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, or CarbonBlack.
• Foundational understanding of Windows and MacOS internal system functionality.
• Proven history of integrating AI tools to enhance daily workflows and problem-solving.
• Professional communication skills with the ability to provide clear technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with security operations, enterprise technology, and network protocols.
• Experience utilizing AI-augmented development platforms for security automation.
• Deep interest in tracking adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
