What you will do

• Lead end-to-end investigative data projects to support regulatory compliance and operational defense.
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning to automate and scale regulatory decision-making.
• Leverage GenAI and LLMs to accelerate analysis, prototype solutions, and automate manual workflows.
• Write optimized SQL, Python, and Scala code to process large volumes of transactional data.
• Build advanced dashboards and visualizations to surface trends and forward-looking signals.
• Collaborate across business, legal, and product teams to define and track KPIs and OKRs.

Requirements

• Strong analytical capacity and experience with large, ambiguous transactional datasets.
• Hands-on fluency with SQL and at least one general-purpose language (Python or Scala).
• Clear, succinct, and effective communication in English and Spanish.
• Proactive and autonomous problem-solving skills in a fast-changing environment.
• Must be based in Mexico City and able to work on-site full-time.

Nice to have

• Experience with data engineering, Spark, MPP, and orchestration tools.
• Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Physics).
• Hands-on experience taking AI/GenAI solutions to production.
• Familiarity with KYC, AML, and regulatory topics in Latin America.
