What you will do

• Collaborate with the Lead Engineer on internal development for the Endstar sandbox platform.
• Oversee and mentor student interns in a make-to-learn environment.
• Provide detailed feedback through code reviews and pull request approvals.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of real-time and asynchronous gameplay features.
• Participate in live demos and technical documentation efforts.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 3+ years of professional programming experience in Unity using C#.
• Proven track record of shipping one or more games built in Unity.
• Strong expertise in crafting moment-to-moment gameplay feel.
• Excellent communication skills for mentoring and team collaboration.
• Ability to participate in creative game design discussions.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing networked gameplay and supporting live services.
• Familiarity with Unity NetCode for GameObjects.
• Prior experience mentoring or teaching students to code.
• Background in developing educational software or learning-focused games.
