What you will do

• Create 3-5 minute comedic stories featuring a strong single gag or premise per episode.
• Develop scripts focused on visual gags, physical comedy, and escalation.
• Translate data-driven trends and viral themes into organic, entertaining story premises.
• Edit and provide constructive feedback on scripts from other writers to maintain quality and voice.
• Collaborate with creative directors, board artists, and consultants to ensure age-appropriate content.
• Maintain consistency in character voice, world rules, and running gags across a high volume of episodes.

Requirements

• Produced writing credits on preschool (2-6) or children’s (6-11) animated series.
• Mastery of visual comedy, physical timing, and staging as primary storytelling tools.
• Ability to build tight comedic structures within short, fast-paced runtimes.
• Strong instinct for universal humor that transcends language and cultural barriers.
• Experience with digital-first production cadences and iterative feedback cycles.
• Must be based in Lithuania for hybrid work arrangement.
