What you will do

• Assist the producer in preparing and outputting the four-hour breakfast show.
• Produce and edit audio content for broadcast.
• Manage live sources, line up guests, and interact with callers during the show.
• Compile travel news and provide research background for the presenter.
• Develop creative story ideas and treatments for local content.
• Support a multiplatform approach to digital and social media engagement.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Ipswich, UK
• Proven experience in outputting radio programmes.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of Suffolk and the local target audience.
• Creative approach to storytelling and content development.
• Proficiency in managing social media and digital opportunities.
