TL;DR
Platform Engineer (AWS/Distributed Systems): Building and optimizing distributed systems and AWS infrastructure with an accent on reliability, performance, and production debugging. Focus on improving billing systems, identity flows, and platform efficiency in complex environments.

Location: Remote

Salary: EUR 90,000 - 120,000 / Year

What you will do

  • Work on distributed systems operating at scale
  • Improve platform reliability and performance
  • Support AWS infrastructure and architecture
  • Investigate production incidents and optimize database performance and queries
  • Develop and maintain billing systems and Stripe integrations
  • Support identity and authentication systems, including SAML and SCIM

Requirements

  • Software engineer mindset with experience working on distributed systems in production
  • Proficiency in debugging across infrastructure, databases, and application code
  • Strong AWS fundamentals
  • Sound engineering judgement and ability to make progress through ambiguity

Nice to have

  • Python experience
  • Strong database experience
