TL;DR
Field Service Engineer (Inkjet): Providing technical service support, repair, and maintenance for wide-format printing equipment with an accent on installation and on-site troubleshooting. Location: Home based (GB), preferably in the West Midland area. Must be prepared to travel to visit client sites across UK and Ireland.

What you will do
- Repair and maintain customer printing equipment effectively and efficiently.
- Execute pre-installations and full equipment installations.
- Perform remote call pre-qualification and implement remote fixes where possible.
- Document technical issues and manage the logging and closure of service calls.
- Provide on-site support for customers primarily in the UK and Ireland, and occasionally in Europe.
- Maintain professional expertise through continuous learning and knowledge sharing with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in managing repairs and installations for Wide Format printing equipment.
- Proven track record in customer-facing, field-based, or independent work environments.
- Valid UK driving licence (company car or travel allowance provided).
- Valid passport for occasional international travel and training.
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and basic IT/networking skills.
