Senior Software Validation Engineer (Automotive): Testing automotive software applications and verifying system behavior with an accent on AUTOSAR, ISO26262, and ASPICE standards. Focus on designing test benches, implementing test automation using Vector tools, and analyzing software requirements to identify gaps.

What you will do

  • Plan, develop, and execute field and bench-based test cases.
  • Analyze software behavior and report bugs via defect management systems.
  • Design and deploy test benches based on customer requirements.
  • Develop test automation and contribute to the overall testing strategy.
  • Conduct technical reviews of testing artifacts for standards compliance.
  • Communicate project status to management and handle customer technical challenges.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive validation.
  • University degree in Computer, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Proficiency in C and Python programming.
  • Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, vTeststudio, CAPL scripting).
  • Strong understanding of software integration testing and embedded systems.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

  • Experience with NI/dSPACE benches.
  • ISTQB certifications.
  • Knowledge of the German language.
  • Experience in test bench development and deployment.
