What you will do

• Build and own demand forecasting models for patient volume, seasonality, and growth plans.
• Design and implement workforce planning processes and automation tools from scratch.
• Manage day-to-day workforce allocation, shift planning, and clinical staffing levels.
• Own the resourcing budget and cost-to-serve, focusing on reducing contractor and overtime spend.
• Lead, develop, and set standards for a Resource & Planning Coordinator.
• Partner with Clinical, Finance, and People teams to align resourcing strategy with business goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in workforce planning, resource management, or operations management.
• Experience managing, mentoring, or developing at least one direct report.
• Must be based in the UK.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, modelling).
• Experience designing and implementing new processes from scratch.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools such as Looker or Power BI.
• Background in MedTech or another regulated industry.
• Experience scaling functions within a high-growth or fast-scaling business.
• Familiarity with statistical or predictive forecasting methods.
