What you will do

• Act as a technical leader and individual contributor within the ML Search team.
• Develop and deploy advanced ML models using user/product embeddings and contextual bandits.
• Create personalized ranking algorithms to improve search and discovery for customers.
• Build scalable, explainable, and responsible AI solutions that enhance trust and transparency.
• Experiment and innovate to solve complex business and customer problems through data-informed decisions.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading the development and deployment of advanced ML models in a fast-moving tech environment.
• Experience shipping state-of-the-art ML models to production with measurable business impact.
• Fluency in Python and extensive hands-on experience with scikit-learn and SQL.
• Must be based in the UK (Cardiff, London, or Remote).
• Strong product mindset with a focus on customer outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with personalisation, ranking, and recommendation systems for consumer applications.
• Commercial experience writing critical production code and working with microservices.
