Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Simulation)

Location: London, England, UK; hybrid work

Salary: £123,000–£129,000 GBP annual base salary, plus potential annual bonus, equity incentives, and company benefits.

What you will do

• Advance ultra-realistic autonomous vehicle simulations using foundation models.
• Collaborate with teams in Waymo Oxford and other locations to improve simulation realism.
• Design experiments that advance autonomous vehicle simulation capabilities.
• Develop metrics to measure the realism of simulated worlds.
• Train and evaluate large models and integrate them into the simulator and downstream applications.
• Help hire research engineers and productionize research ideas.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in applied deep learning.
• 5+ years of coding and software design experience.
• Experience solving complex production problems with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.
• Experience taking research projects into production.
• Expertise in data analysis or data science.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in London, UK.
