What you will do

• Own the health of production systems by resolving complex escalations and debugging Java and Spring Boot code.
• Lead the adoption of agentic tooling, LLMs, and AI automation to streamline incident triage and log analysis.
• Monitor, debug, and maintain application stability within a Kubernetes-orchestrated containerized environment.
• Act as a technical authority, reviewing root cause analyses and mentoring the team on AI-native support practices.
• Identify trends in system failures and plan major code refactoring or automation initiatives to prevent recurrence.
• Balance rapid incident response with long-term system maintainability and reliability standards.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of strong backend engineering expertise and application support experience.
• Deep, hands-on programming and debugging expertise with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergencies as part of a global "follow the sun" model.
• Demonstrated experience or strong aptitude in utilizing AI-driven tools (coding assistants, LLM-driven scripting) to optimize workflows.
• Strong technical judgment regarding the impact of bug fixes on distributed systems.
