What you will do

• Build and run the core operating cadence for Product Design, including weekly status, critiques, design reviews, and quarterly planning.
• Create lightweight systems to track priorities, milestones, dependencies, and ownership across multiple product areas.
• Establish practical engagement models between Design and Product, Engineering, Research, and Data teams.
• Improve launch readiness by helping teams surface quality risks and clarify tradeoffs.
• Partner with design systems leaders to strengthen craft rituals and shared standards.
• Provide leadership with visibility into capacity, resourcing pressure, and operational bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in design program management, design operations, product operations, or technical program management.
• Experience in a high-growth product environment where priorities shift quickly.
• Deep understanding of product design workflows and delivery rituals.
• Ability to turn ambiguity into operational clarity through agendas, decision logs, and milestone plans.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with designers and cross-functional partners.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience as the first design program manager or design operations hire in a scaling organization.
• Experience supporting a design org of 25+ people across multiple product areas.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows for summarizing signals and maintaining operating systems.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, platform products, or multi-product suites.
