What you will do

• Support the MLRO in maintaining and enhancing the AML/CFT compliance framework in alignment with UAE laws and FATF standards.
• Coordinate with federal and free zone regulators regarding inspections, audits, and information requests.
• Oversee day-to-day transaction monitoring alerts and investigate potentially suspicious activity.
• Draft and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) via goAML.
• Assist in the development and calibration of automated monitoring systems and internal controls.
• Deliver AML/CFT training sessions and provide guidance on regulatory developments to internal staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance, AML/CFT, or regulatory affairs, preferably within financial services in the MEASA region.
• Strong familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks including FSRA, CBUAE, and SCA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex compliance matters to stakeholders.
• High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight regulatory deadlines.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in compliance tools and case management systems.
• Experience with blockchain analytics or forensic platforms such as Chainalysis or Elliptic.
