What you will do

• Serve as the primary quality contact for customers regarding product performance and field issues.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints and field failures using structured methodologies like 8D, RCA, and FMEA.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to identify root causes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Analyze field data and failure trends to drive product reliability improvements.
• Track and report customer quality KPIs and prepare technical documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in Fairport, NY.
• Engineering Degree (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis tools (8D, 5-Why) and PFMEA/DFMEA.
• Ability to read and interpret Electrical and Mechanical engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Knowledge of Lean tools and electronic measurement techniques.
