Senior Electrical Engineer (Testing)

What you will do

• Design, analyze, and validate copper Ethernet cabling systems, including impedance, insertion loss, crosstalk, and return loss.
• Contribute to hybrid fiber power and powered communications systems, including power delivery, protection, and integration.
• Perform electrical modeling, simulation, laboratory measurements, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Conduct and document electrical, thermal, environmental, and EMC testing using network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data loggers.
• Develop and execute test plans aligned with TIA, IEEE, IEC, UL, NEC, and other applicable standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, compliance, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and field personnel through prototyping, qualification, and early deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with circuit analysis, electromagnetics, signal integrity, AC/DC power fundamentals, and RF principles.
• Ability to work hands-on in laboratory and office settings within a small, multidisciplinary team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with structured cabling systems, Ethernet PHYs, high-speed copper links, VNAs, TDR, power electronics, or fault-managed power.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar data-analysis tools.
• Product development, R&D, and awareness of TIA, IEEE 802, UL, NEC, or IEC standards.
