TL;DR
Principal Fullstack Developer (AI): Building and optimizing transformative AI agents for HR and Finance workflows with an accent on fullstack integration and scalable architecture. Focus on implementing tooling strategies, architecting intelligent solutions within the stack, and ensuring high-impact product delivery.
Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 50% of time spent in the office per quarter.
Salary: $168,000 – $252,000 CAD

What you will do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered agents for HR and Financial workflows.
- Architect and implement intelligent solutions that integrate deeply into the existing platform.
- Take full ownership of functional areas from development through to production deployment.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and strong engineering practices.
- Participate in iterative development cycles to accelerate intelligent decision-making for global organizations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 7+ years of experience with web development frameworks, specifically Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI).
- 5+ years of experience with React and TypeScript for fullstack development.
- 8+ years of experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Vancouver, BC.
Nice to have
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with distributed systems architecture and Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and observability best practices.
