What you will do

• Develop and own the strategy for entry into AI infrastructure markets, including brokerage, dealing, and structured lending.
• Originate transactions and build a counterparty network across AI labs, hyperscalers, and data-center developers.
• Design and structure bespoke financial instruments to hedge cost exposure or monetize idle capacity.
• Build pricing and risk frameworks for illiquid markets, including mark-to-model valuation and basis decomposition.
• Establish credit and structured-lending capabilities, underwriting GPU fleets and data-center deployments.
• Lead the team across origination, trading, and structuring while representing the firm with exchanges and partners.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and running a markets business (trading, brokerage, or structured products).
• Deep fluency in flow commodities defined by basis, term structure, and non-storability.
• Demonstrated ability to price and manage risk in illiquid or nascent markets.
• Working knowledge of the AI compute ecosystem, including GPU economics and hyperscaler dynamics.
• Quantitative fluency with the ability to build and interrogate pricing models in Python.
• Must be based in or able to work from New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Background in power or energy trading, including ISO/RTO mechanics and PPAs.
• Experience in or alongside an AI business, cloud provider, or large energy offtaker.
• Experience financing or operating capital-intensive physical infrastructure.
• Crypto-mining operations experience.
• Prior experience launching new derivatives products or contributing to market index governance.
