What you will do

  • Investigate and resolve complex billing concerns for patients and insurance providers.
  • Manage high-volume case queues across omnichannel support platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive timely and accurate billing resolutions.
  • Document case details clearly and maintain high standards of data integrity.
  • Contribute to the improvement of billing processes, resources, and organizational guidance.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii)
  • 2+ years of experience in medical billing, healthcare revenue cycle, or billing support.
  • Hands-on experience in a queue-based or ticket-based omnichannel support role.
  • Proven ability to independently investigate and resolve complex or escalated support issues.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment, particularly in healthcare or patient advocacy.
  • Background supporting behavioral or mental health populations.
  • Proficiency with Zendesk, Salesforce, EHR systems, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medigap, or EAP benefit structures.
  • Experience partnering with BPO or outsourced support teams.
