What you will do
- Investigate and resolve complex billing concerns for patients and insurance providers.
- Manage high-volume case queues across omnichannel support platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive timely and accurate billing resolutions.
- Document case details clearly and maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Contribute to the improvement of billing processes, resources, and organizational guidance.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii)
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing, healthcare revenue cycle, or billing support.
- Hands-on experience in a queue-based or ticket-based omnichannel support role.
- Proven ability to independently investigate and resolve complex or escalated support issues.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a high-growth or startup environment, particularly in healthcare or patient advocacy.
- Background supporting behavioral or mental health populations.
- Proficiency with Zendesk, Salesforce, EHR systems, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medigap, or EAP benefit structures.
- Experience partnering with BPO or outsourced support teams.
